In a quiet corner at the United Nations building in Geneva where the annual Human Rights Commission meeting is taking place, sunlight brightened the marble floor through the large window. rights violations against Falun Gong practitioners in China at the UNHRC in Geneva.
This car tour is an attempt to appeal to the Australian government and the public to initiate a resolution at the United Nations Commission on Human Rights to condemn China’s persecution of Falun Gong. It consists of Australians who have been directly affected by the persecution.
On Friday evening, 27 February 2004, Brisbane’s King George Square was transformed
by a candlelight vigil held in memory of all Falun Gong practitioners tortured
to death over the past four and a half years.
On the evening of the Valentine’s Day when couples celebrate being together, we cannot forget our friends, relatives and fellow practitioners in China who are suffering persecution. Recently, more Falun Gong practitioners died as a result of the persecution.
Recently, it was reported that a number of Falun Gong practitioners in China died as a result of the persecution, and more practitioners were imprisoned and tortured.
On February 8, 2004, Falun Gong practitioners were invited to participate in the annual St Kilda Festival, the largest free music festival on the southern hemisphere.
