(Minghui.org) Even in the depths of winter, Falun Dafa practitioners continue holding truth-clarification activities in the centre of Munich every week. They introduce the spiritual practice to the public and expose the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of Dafa, which has been ongoing for nearly 23 years.
Many passersby pause and learn more about Falun Dafa and sign a petition calling to end the CCP’s egregious human rights violations.
Doctor Condemns the CCP’s Persecution of Falun Dafa
Joachim von Keyserling, a retired psychiatrist, accepted truth-clarification materials from a Falun Dafa practitioner on Marienplatz. He paused and watched for quite a while as practitioners demonstrated the exercises. When he learned how the CCP persecutes practitioners and harvests their organs, he immediately signed the petition to stop the persecution.
“People must sign the petition. It (organ harvesting) is not acceptable,” he said after signing the petition. He added that the CCP’s organ harvesting from practitioners while they are still alive is murder.
Doctor: The CCP Should Not Persecute Peaceful People
Later that day, a woman named Elisabeth saw practitioners demonstrating the exercises as she passed by Marienplatz. She said that the peaceful scene of practitioners doing the exercises was “very calm and peaceful, very beautiful.”
Elisabeth is also a doctor. When she learned about the CCP’s organ harvesting from practitioners, she said that organ trafficking is a very scary topic, and the CCP cannot persecute these peaceful practitioners. She signed the petition to stop the CCP’s organ harvesting.
Lrona Lateroni Populi, a nurse from Hungary, also signed the petition. She said that the CCP’s organ harvesting from practitioners while they are alive is a “horrific, inhuman, and unbelievable thing.” She also said that the CCP’s persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners who practice Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is wrong.
January 22 was extremely cold. Despite the snow and bitter wind, practitioners held a truth-clarification activity in front of the Munich Palace and the International Opera House. A doctor passed by and noticed the banners and display boards, and told a practitioner that she had seen their truth-clarification activities many times.
She chatted with the practitioner for a while. Before leaving, she signed the petition to stop the CCP’s organ harvesting and thanked the practitioners for introducing Falun Dafa to her in detail.
Background: What Is Falun Dafa and Why Is the CCP Persecuting It?
Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) was first introduced to the public by Mr. Li Hongzhi in Changchun, China, in 1992. The spiritual discipline is now practiced in over 100 countries and regions worldwide.
Millions of people who have embraced the teachings, which are based on the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and learned the five exercises have experienced improved health and well-being.
Jiang Zemin, former head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), perceived the spiritual discipline’s growing popularity as a threat to the CCP’s atheistic ideology and on July 20, 1999, issued an order to ban the practice.
Under Jiang’s personal direction, the CCP established the 610 Office, an extralegal security organisation with the power to override the police and judicial systems and whose sole function is to carry out the persecution of Falun Dafa.
Minghui.org has confirmed the deaths of thousands of practitioners as a result of the persecution over the past 22 years, though due to the difficulty of getting information out of China, the actual number is believed to be much higher. Many more have been imprisoned and tortured for their faith.
There is concrete evidence that the CCP sanctions the harvesting of organs from detained practitioners, who are murdered to supply the organ transplant industry.
