(Minghui.org) Practitioners held activities in Ancona, Italy on April 6, 2024. They told people about Falun Dafa, demonstrated the exercises, and raised awareness about the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution.
Ancona is located on the Adriatic Sea in east-central Italy. It’s the capital of the Marche region and Ancona Province, and an important Italian shipbuilding centre which often holds large trade exhibitions. Ancona has been a prosperous port city since the Roman Empire.
Practitioners set up display boards with information on the CCP’s 24-year-long persecution, and many people stopped to read the information.
People learned about the spiritual practice and the persecution. Many were appalled upon learning that the CCP persecutes peaceful people who meditate, and signed a petition calling for a stop to the CCP’s state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting.
A woman, her two friends, and her son were interested in Falun Dafa and said they wished to learn the exercises during the event.
A veteran encouraged practitioners to spread the facts and let more people know about the persecution.
A man in his 80s watched the exercise demonstration in the morning. He returned that afternoon and said he wished to learn the exercises.
A woman took some brochures and said she would give them to her friends.
A young man from Iran studying at Anonca University spoke with a practitioner in English. He said he learned about Falun Dafa online, and was surprised to see practitioners in Ancona.
He later returned with biscuits and tea for the practitioners. He stayed until the end of the event and helped them wrap up their tent and materials.
