(Minghui.org) Practitioners in Western Australia introduced Falun Dafa at the 123rd Kalamunda Show on April 13, 2024. Many people took the opportunity to learn the benefits of the practice, and some were interested in learning the exercises.
Located in the eastern suburb of Perth, Kalamunda hosts this traditional annual community event which includes various entertainment, booths, competitions, displays, sideshows and rides, a log chop competition, an animal nursery, craft displays and competitions, cookery, horticulture, art, and photography.
Local resident Ms. Shelley Tucker was interested in learning about Falun Dafa. She said she felt strong energy when she watched practitioners demonstrate the exercises. “I feel it! Yes, I feel it,” she said excitedly.
Shelley said that if you could pause your busy life and look for Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance, “Once you find those three things, you feel calmer. You are guided to do better things. You are happier and you spread more joy. Your mind, body, and spirit are together, and then you can make better decisions. I hope we spread these words.”
Shelley signed the petition calling to stop the persecution of Falun Dafa in China. She encouraged the practitioners in China to stay firm in their belief. “The truth will come out, because I think the world is changing to be a better place.”
Marie said, “I feel drawn to them (the Falun Dafa exercises demonstration at the Falun Dafa booth) and it was overwhelming. I am definitely going to go and have a look!” Marie signed the petition, took the pamphlet from a practitioner, and said she would find out more about the practice.
Penelope and her friend Leni signed the petition. Penelope said, “People deserve the freedom to practice Falun Dafa. It’s their right. No one should get persecuted for that.”
Michael Ginever said that organ harvesting from living practitioners is an appalling genocidal crime. “It is unfathomably evil. It’s outrageous. It is genocide. It’s utterly appalling. It’s absolutely appalling.”
