(Minghui.org) As the restrictions imposed during the COVID pandemic eased, Falun Dafa practitioners in the U.K. were able to resume talking to people in front of the British Museum. Every day, many visitors from around the world sign the petition calling for an end to the persecution.

There are many Chinese tourists every day. Some already know about Falun Dafa and say they admire practitioners’ persistence over the years. Other Chinese people have misunderstandings about Falun Dafa because of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) propaganda, but after talking to practitioners, many realise the state-run media in China suppresses the truth and they thank practitioners for clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa and the persecution.

People sign the petition calling for the persecution to end.

Chinese American: I Admire Falun Dafa the Most

A Chinese woman accepted the brochure when she heard it was about Falun Dafa. The family was from the U.S. and the woman said, “We’ve lived in the U.S. for many years. I support you. Of all the groups that are persecuted by the CCP, I admire Falun Dafa practitioners the most. I admire you for persevering for so many years. I am a doctor. Some years ago, you began telling people that the CCP harvests organs from Falun Dafa practitioners. I did not believe it. Although I knew that the CCP did many bad things, I didn’t believe that it could do something so evil. But then, as many truths were revealed on the Internet, I believed it.”

Her husband said, “My brother-in-law practices Falun Dafa. He went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa in 2000. He was arrested and imprisoned for several years. I know how the CCP persecutes you.”

They all agreed to quit the CCP organisations they’d once joined and encouraged practitioners to continue.

Chinese Girl: I Support You—You Are Doing Amazing Things

In May, a girl from China stopped at the information desk and asked for a brochure. She said, “I support you guys—you are doing amazing things. Is there anything that I can do for you?

“My mother was on dialysis for seven years for kidney disease. She couldn’t get timely treatment during the pandemic and died. She died because the CCP doesn’t care about human life. Sadly, in China, many people are indifferent to the tragedies around them because it is not happening to them.

“I support you in my heart.” She then quit the Young Pioneers, a CCP organisation. Practitioners told her about the miraculous effect of Dafa on resolving illness. She said she was interested in practicing and left her contact number.

A Family from China Learns the Truth

When a family from China walked past the display boards, the wife said that practitioners were paid to hand out brochures. A practitioner said that she did not take money from anyone, that practitioners spent their own money to print the materials and come there in their spare time to tell people the facts.

The father said he had been to many countries over the years and saw practitioners everywhere. He asked the practitioner many questions, including how she came to the U.K., if she had a job, and if she was paid to distribute materials.

The practitioner told him that her husband came to the U.K. in 1998 and found a good job after he graduated. In 2003, the entire family was granted permanent resident status and has done well financially. She said she worked part-time so she could have more time to tell people about Falun Dafa. She said, “I am here because I have a responsibility. Because I benefited from Falun Dafa, I feel compelled to be here and clarify the facts when Falun Dafa is slandered by the CCP.

“Over the years, I’ve often met Chinese people who claim that we are paid to hand out leaflets here, including you. I can understand that. Why? Who would do something nowadays without being paid? Only Falun Dafa practitioners. We, including the practitioners you’ve seen all over the world, all do this voluntarily. Maybe you ask yourself how much money you’d like to be paid to stand here in the wind and rain, in summer and winter?” The man and his son nodded.

As they said goodbye, the woman thanked the practitioner.
