(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners in the State of Vermont set up display boards and an information table in the State Capitol in Montpelier to introduce the practice, inform people about the ongoing persecution of Falun Gong in China, and expose the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) crimes of forced organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners, dissidents, and other minority groups.

Many state legislators came over to speak with practitioners, and some signed a petition calling for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong and to stop the CCP’s live organ harvesting.

State representative Jonathan Williams stopped by the practitioners’ display and signed a petition to support Falun Gong’s efforts to end the persecution and stop the CCP’s live organ harvesting crimes.

State representative Saudia LaMont signed the petition and gave her contact information to a practitioner so that she could attend an upcoming exercise instruction class.

Representative Monique Priestley said she would support enacting an “End Forced Organ Harvesting Bill” in Vermont, and said she wished to see the persecution of Falun Gong end as soon as possible.

Guy Page, publisher of the Vermont Daily Chronicle, had heard of Falun Gong but didn’t know that the persecution was still happening. When he learned that the U.S. House of Representatives had passed the Stop Forced Organ Harvesting Act of 2023 on March 27 to punish perpetrators involved in live organ harvesting, he said he would publish news about the bill in the Daily Chronicle to let more people know about the persecution.

She said she will invite Falun Gong practitioners on her program to introduce Falun Dafa and tell her listeners about the persecution.
