Recently, it was reported that a number of Falun Gong practitioners in China died as a result of the persecution, and more practitioners were imprisoned and tortured.
On the issue of the illicit detainment of Falun Gong practitioners in Paris, Mr Seillan said that he was aware of the incident. He frankly explained what he knew about the incident and received additional information by the Falun Dafa Information Centre that he had not been aware of, and said he would send it to France soon.
On this evening of Valentine’s Day when couples are celebrating being together, we Falun Gong practitioners are here yet again in front of the Chinese consulate. For us the knowledge that our friends, relatives and fellow practitioners are suffering is never far from our thoughts.
Between November 2003 and January 2004, reliable sources in China reported details on 64 Falun Gong practitioners who died from severe torture suffered in Chinese detention centers and labour camps. Deaths from torture and abuse were reported in 17 provinces throughout China, from Heilongjiang to Guangxi; from Sichuan to Beijing.
Many of the police were sleeping in the lobby so I was tip-toeing around them for fear of waking them up. Exiting through the revolving doors I entered the crisp dark Bejing early morning. turn, it felt like my heart was beating so fast and hard that it was going to

We were deely concerned after having learnt that several dozen Falun Gong practitioners from the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France and Taiwan were arrested between 24 to 26 January on the streets of Paris for no valid reasons other than their being Falun Gong practitioners.
