Chinese Official Served With Lawsuit While Visiting United States

Bo Xilai, the Minister of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, was served with a lawsuit during his visit to the United States. The complaint, brought by Li Weixum and others, alleges such serious human rights abuses as torture, genocide and other crimes against humanity carried out while persecuting Falun Gong practitioners in China.

Exposing Jiang Regime’s State Sponsored Terror that Destroys Human Consicence at the UN Commission on Human Rights (Photos)

During the 60th Human Rights Conference at the UN, Falun Gong and the NGO “International Education Development” held a forum together, the theme of which was “Chinese State Terrorism: The Persecution of Falun Gong.”

When speaking of terrorism, people often think of radical people who operate in other countries
using terrorist means such as assassination, explosions and so on to cause
hundreds of thousands civilian casualties and deaths, in order to force the
other side to surrender. People often ignore another type of terrorism, which is
state terrorism operated by a country’s government. In fact, research by
commissioners in charge of studying terrorism at the UN pointed out that the
horrors caused to human beings by state terrorism is many times greater than
that caused by non-state terrorism.

Products Worldwide Made by Falun Gong Slave Labor

The Changji Labor Camp has to meet Tianshan Wooltex’s quota of Kashmir sweaters, or the guards won’t get their bonus. The Chinese “reform through labor” camps have become privatized. They are small enterprises that sign contracts with big companies and export products to overseas shopping malls.

It is a place where torturers get rich, and where Falun Gong practitioners slave to pay for the purchase of the electric batons that will shock them if they slow down. These are places where persecution drives profit.

An Open Letter from Women in China Who Practise Falun Gong

We are female Falun Dafa practitioners from the People’s Republic of China. With great indignation, we relate the inhumane torture we have been suffering over the past four and one-half years. We are seeking your help.

Throughout China’s labor camps and police stations, we have been subjected to torture and humiliation. Some female practitioners have been forced to stand still for days and nights while being denied food, the use of a restroom and sleep. Many have been beaten and shocked with high-voltage electric batons. Others have been sent to mental hospitals and injected with unknown substances. Many have been exposed to extremely hot or cold weather.

Jiang’s Personal Campaign

OVER THE LAST four years, China watchers have proposed a variety of socio-political reasons for why the Chinese regime moved to crush Falun Gong – a benign exercise and meditation practice with ancient Chinese roots. The answer, however, has proved to be simpler and far more disturbing than most initially guessed.

When the nationwide persecution campaign against Falun Gong began in China in July 1999, many believed the campaign to be another mass movement orchestrated and backed by the Communist Party leadership as a whole. Since that time, however, facts have emerged to cast light on the maneuvers of then-Communist Party head Jiang Zemin.

A Call for Decisive Action to End the Genocide in China

As the United Nation’s Commission on Human Rights convenes in Geneva this week, the Falun Dafa Information Center joins the growing chorus of voices urging the Commission to censure China for the horrific and widespread abuses of human rights against Falun Gong practitioners throughout China.

To this end, on March 8th the U.S. Congress passed resolution H. Res. 530 urging the international community to rebuke the People’s Republic of China for a litany of human rights abuses. Additionally, last week 40 non-governmental organizations adopted a resolution of their own, urging a resolution to be introduced in Geneva “to call upon the People’s Republic of China to end its human rights violations and meet internationally recognized standards for human rights.”

“Compared to Hitler’s crime in slaughtering the Jews, the Chinese government’s killing of innocent people is more covert, and is more sinister. This action is hidden under lies, for example, “for the sake of the stabilization of society and citizens,” and the cruel persecution focuses on destroying innocent people’s will and morality. The genocide against Falun Gong practitioners is the most noticeable crime right now.”

Deputy Consul General of China in Toronto Found Guilty of Libel

On February 3, 2004, the Ontario Superior Court began proceedings for the libel lawsuit filed by Toronto Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Joel Chipkar against the Deputy Consul General of China in Toronto, Mr. Pan Xinchun.

This is the first time where a Falun Gong practitioner has brought and won a lawsuit against a Chinese diplomat for persecuting Falun Gong outside of China. This is also the first court case where a Chinese diplomat was sued for slander and spreading hatred against Falun Gong.
