On March 21, 2007, the Divine Performing Arts Troupe presented the second performance of the 2007 Chinese New Year Spectacular in Canberra, the capital of Australia. The Spectacular was supported by many Parliament Members, businesses, and the media. More than 10 media outlets reported about the Spectacular.
The deaths of Xu and Shen come close on the heels of the U.S. Department of State’s annual human rights Country Reports, released March 6, and confirm in chilling detail allegations of abuse at the hands of China’s communist authorities.
On February 15, 2007, the NTDTV Global Chinese New Year Spectacular held two shows at Radio City in New York. The severe weather didn’t stop the enthusiastic audience. As Ms. Zhou Mei, the MC of the Spectacular, said: “The performances at the Spectacular warm up everybody.” Many people in the audience were touched by the show and gave it very high marks.
On February 8th, 2007, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Cao Dong was sentenced to five years in prison by the Gansu Provincial Court. His so-called “crimes” were “illegally connecting with a foreign anti-China force,” and “illegally accepting interviews.”
No one who wanted to persecute a righteous belief has ever succeeded. Seven years have passed, and Falun Gong still stands rock-solid. Falun Gong has become the monument that has validated “Truth-Compassion-Forbearance.” In the near future, people will see that Falun Gong is the only hope for the world’s sentient beings.

THE mayor of Maribyrnong, Janet Rice, will be included in a delegation to investigate
human rights abuses in China. The delegation has asked permission to investigate claims that Falun Gong practitioners in China are being imprisoned and killed, their organs harvested and sold.
International reports have suggested that of the 60,000 organ transplants the China Medical Organ Transplant Association recorded between 2000 and 2005, only 18,500 came from identifiable sources.
WND reported in 2004 charges by the banned Falun Gong group – backed up by Chinese doctors and human rights experts – that the communist government was torturing prisoners, executing them and trafficking in their body parts.
Labor’s Chris Bowen, has become the first MP to address the Australian Parliament on the issue of forced organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners in China.
