The Swedish people have been practicing Falun Dafa since 1995. Mr. Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Dafa, taught the practice in person in Sweden on April 6th, 1995. To help more people understand Falun Gong, Master Li gave five lectures, about three hours each, including three in Gothenburg, one in Stockholm, Sweden’s capital, and one in Uddevalla.
From May 20-27, 2006, the International “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance” Fine Arts Exhibition was held in the City Town Hall of Perth City, Western Australia. During the exhibition, almost every visitor signed his name to support Falun Gong.

A vice-president of the European Parliament returned last week from a three day investigation into human rights abuses in mainland China.
Amnesty International says there are more than 300,000 practitioners in 36 labour camps where more than 3000 practitioners have been tortured to death since 1999. The pair have official figures that there were 78 organ transplants in China between 1991 and 1999. This increased to 254 in 2000, to 486 in 2001 and there have been 3000 transplants since 2003.
Falun Gong practitioners will stage an appeal outside of Parliament house on Tuesday 30 May 2006 calling for the Federal Government to participate in an investigation into organ harvesting from live Falun Gong detainees in China.

After his three-day investigation in mainland China, Mr. McMillan-Scott arrived in Hong Kong at noon on May 24 and stated in a news conference that the Chinese communist regime has not changed in the past decade. He described it as “a system of atrocity, despotism, and bigotry.”
In April 2006, 23 cases of Dafa practitioners in Mainland China dying from the persecution were confirmed. Among them are 11 female practitioners, 48% of the total; nine of the 23 practitioners, 39% of the total who died, were over 55 years old.
