Australian Online Rally: End 21 Years’ Persecution of Falun Gong, 20 Jul 2020

Australian Falun Gong practitioners’ first online rally (End 21 Years’ Persecution of Falun Gong , 20 Jul 2020) was live streaming through facebook page of Epochtimes Australia’s account, it started at 12:20pm 20/07/2020, ended at 15:15pm 20/07/2020. At peak time there were more than 600 people participating in the live streaming event (peak time counts: 300 direct participation and 300 from the Facebook live streaming).

July 20 marks 21 years since the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) launched the horrendous persecution of Falun Gong, a spiritual practice based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance. It has resulted in arbitrary arrests, torture, killing, and even forced organ harvesting on a large scale across China, destroying the lives of tens of millions of practitioners and their families.

Bringing hope on this dark anniversary, Australian lawmakers, lawyers, and human rights advocates stand in solidarity to hold the CCP accountable for its crimes against humanity and to call for an end to the persecution and the release of all Falun Gong prisoners of conscience in China. They include Australian family members serving sentences of up to 10 years.
