On Sunday, November 11, Falun Gong practitioners introduced this ancient mind-body practice by the seashore in Larnaca, the oldest city in Cyprus.
The group demonstrated the exercises and collected signatures on a petition calling for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong in China, which has gone on since 1999.
A middle-aged man filmed the exercise demonstration for a long time. He was glad to learn more about Falun Gong from the volunteers. He asked why they were willing to be there without being paid, and one volunteer told him that they learned this practice for free and they are volunteering for free in turn.
All Falun Gong activities are free of charge, as stipulated by the founder, Mr. Li Hongzhi.
The man said to the volunteers, “May God bless you and help you.” He invited his friends to learn more as well. All three of them signed the petition.
An Armenian-German man stopped to learn more and said that he would inform his family, including his grandchildren. “Thank you for enlightening us,” he said.
