South Korea: 2,000 March for Falun Gong

Two thousand people participated in a march in Seoul, South Korea, last Saturday, showcasing the peace and positive values of Falun Gong and exposing the severe persecution of the practice in China.

The participants hailed from 12 Asian countries and areas, including South Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, Japan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, Thailand, Sri Lanka, and Singapore.

Led by the Tian Guo Marching Band, made up of 170 practitioners, the march passed by a series of famous local tourist spots.

Local citizen Hong Minshu followed the march for a few miles.

“The march cheered me up,” she said. “I am energized now.”

“I had heard about the persecution of Falun Gong, but I didn’t know so many people practiced it until seeing the march today,” she added.
