Special News Bulletin: Jiang Zemin Sued for Genocide in Belgium (photo)

Our lawsuit is the 11th international lawsuit to emerge in the last two years against Chinese government officials or entities for their role in the persecution of Falun Gong. Three of these lawsuits in the United States have already handed down judgments against Chinese officials for torture and other crimes committed in the persecution of Falun Gong.

But the real terror of Jiang’s genocidal policy towards Falun Gong is not found merely in the number of dead or the number of imprisoned. What Jiang unleashed in July 1999 was a horrific form of genocide that not only seeks to “physically destroy” 70-100 million people because they believe in “Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance”, but has sought to destroy that belief itself.

Is There A President of Any Country Who Is As Evil and Cruel as Jiang Zemin?

Currently there are many discussions around the case of Jiang Zemin being sued in Chicago. Two questions raised by some in the US are particularly interesting. One question is that as Jiang is being sued in the US, if the US government supports the lawsuit against him, would the US president be susceptible to being sued outside of the US? The second question is whether this lawsuit will affect the relationship between China and the US, especially in relation to the war against terrorism. I feel that both questions are based on erroneous assumptions.

What Does Article 23 of the Basic Law Mean?

The promotion of Article 23 has irked the citizens of Hong Kong and people who care about the future of Hong Kong. Recently, people from all walks of Hong Kong’s society held successive protests. Over thirty civic organizations founded a human rights front and collected signatures all over Hong Kong. They will also hold a large parade across Hong Kong on December 15.

Bring Jiang to Justice, End These Atrocities Against Humanity

Jiang single-handedly planned, launched and directed this persecution against Falun Gong practitioners, who persist in their belief in the universal characteristics of “Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance.” It is a most evil, irrational and brutal large-scale persecution against human beings. Jiang’s regime uses all the methods to torture and persecute people that were developed through decades of Party history; it uses the giant government machinery under the control of a totalitarian power; it exhausts the nation’s manpower and resources in a genocidal persecution of tens of millions of kind Falun Gong practitioners.
