Sandstorm was made to help reveal the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners currently occurring in China. The persecution is well-documented by Human Rights organizations and various governments around the world, but it is very difficult to get information out of China, as there are extensive methods utilized to block information from getting to the outside world and to the citizens within China.
The amazing stories in this book are first-hand accounts of people from all walks of life who recovered from serious, or in many cases, terminal diseases through practicing Falun Dafa.
The persecution carried out by Jiang Zemin and the Chinese Communist Party is based on lies fabricated by the Chinese Communist Party and then broadcast by the state-controlled media.
Hitler blamed the Jews for everything the German people hated. Jiang’s regime has used similar tactics. The current CCP is totally corrupt. Government officers and businessmen collude in all kinds of schemes to make money. After the persecution started, Jiang’s regime mobilized all of China’s media to falsely claim that “Falun Gong accumulated wealth,” because money was charged for the Falun Gong classes and so many people had bought the popular Falun Gong books.
Hong Kong’s top court has overturned convictions against eight followers of the Falun Gong spiritual group accused of assaulting and obstructing police during a 2002 protest. The case is seen as a key test of judicial independence under Chinese rule.
Wasn’t the world shocked and in disbelief when it was revealed what Hitler had done to the Jews in World War Two? Similar questions are being asked about the Chinese Government’s treatment of Falun Gong practitioners after last week’s exhibition at the Noosa Library was censored.
Australian Prime Minister Mr. John Howard will visit China at the end of April and sign trade agreements between the two countries. Before his departure, Falun Gong practitioners in Sydney held a candlelight vigil and urged Mr. Howard to put forward the Falun Gong issue to the Chinese government during his visit.

Mr. Jiang Renzheng and his wife encountered severe persecution shortly after they went back China. Because they practice Falun Gong, when they were in Germany, they filed application for asylum status there. Unfortunately, their application was turned down and they had to go back China.
