On Friday evening, 27 February 2004, Brisbane’s King George Square was transformed
by a candlelight vigil held in memory of all Falun Gong practitioners tortured
to death over the past four and a half years.
The 2004 edition of the Falun Dafa InfoCenter’s Compassion magazine was released. The magazine provides an in-depth look at the genocide targeting Falun Gong in China, legal actions around the world to stop it as well as a nation-wide campaign of peaceful civil disobedience by millions of Falun Gong practitioners in China.
The ancient Chinese meditation system, Falun Dafa, teaches how to reduce conflict and stress, while increasing energy levels and harmony. Classes are offered free and the exercises are suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
