This unfortunate couple has suffered brutal persecution while in China for practicing Falun Gong and luckily made it to Australia alive to tell the tragic story.
I am writing to you as a representative of the Friends of Falun Gong in Ireland to express extreme concern for the safety of Mr. Wang Juntao (66) and his wife Mrs. Wang Liluan (62), who are due to be deported back to China.

One day in July 1995, I received a book from my parents in China. The name of the book was ZHUAN FALUN. The author was Mr. Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Dafa. As a child, I often sat in the backyard, gazing at the numerous stars twinkling in the night sky, with all sorts of questions floating in my mind. Are there people out there? What are they doing? Are there bigger objects in the boundless universe? Can our solar system be just a tiny molecule of a much larger living being?
A few days ago, one of my classmates studying in the United States brought back a science video entitled “The Mysterious Origins of Man”. I was deeply touched after watching it.
In my opinion, there are two unbreakable precepts for scientists. First, matter has a material existence. Second, objective and repeatable experiments are the decisive standards in testing scientific truth.
To my understanding of Falun Gong, when a practitioner follows the right teachings, miracles can happen. Practitioners begin to become fully aware of their personal and ethical shortcomings, and make improvements. They begin to understand how to live a truly meaningful life, and for this they are rewarded.
In October 1998, some physicians at China Union Medical University did a large-scale survey among more than 10,000 Falun Dafa practitioners in Beijing regarding their health status. The results showed that 99.1% of Falun Dafa practitioners improved their health after practice.
