In April 2007, an additional twenty one deaths of Falun Gong practitioners in China due to torture were confirmed. Among them, sixteen practitioners died between January and March in 2007 and five died in April 2007. Eight practitioners, 38 percent, were females, and thirteen, 67 percent, were seniors over fifty years old.
Falun Gong (Falun Dafa) practitioners from all around Australia will host a series of activities as part of the international celebration of World Falun Dafa Day.
American Transplant Congress 2007 is being held in San Francisco from May 5 to 9. Many attendees expressed that they learned about the CCP’s harvesting of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners from the organ transplant conference held in Boston. Many of them signed their names to call for the end of the organ harvesting in China.
Court sets aside March 2006 court orders and grants extension of time for service of legal documents to China: “It is anticipated the Registry will transmit this application for service overseas expeditiously.”
Amnesty International released a document on April 30, 2007 titled “People’s Republic of China, The Olympics countdown — repression of activists overshadows death penalty and media reforms”. The report pointed out that the Chinese government uses detention and labor camp sat will to eliminate dissidents, including Falun Gong practitioners. The report updated the case of Bu Dongwei.
Falun Gong practitioners in the San Francisco Bay Area took the opportunity to tell the attendees the facts about Falun Gong, hoping that they would have an opportunity to learn about the persecution practitioners have been suffering, and the inhuman harvesting of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners in China. Many doctors signed the petition to condemn the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) crime of harvesting organs from living people.
Ms. Wang Bo, at about six feet in height, is an intelligent and good-natured music student who had diligently practiced piano since she was quite young. Wang Bo had passed the highest exam, Piano Exam Level X. She was the pride of her family, friends, high school, and even the City of Shijiazhuang.
Falun Dafa has been widespread in Taiwan nearly twelve years. Looking back at Falun Gong’s widespread history in Taiwan, practitioners’ peaceful and rational appeal on “April 25th,” 1999 was a division point, because Taiwan media gave wide coverage of “April 25th” event, making Falun Gong well-known.
“April 25” is here again. Eight years have gone by in a flash.
On April 25, 1999, boulders cracked and heaven was moved when more than 10,000 Falun Dafa practitioners voluntarily and peacefully appealed in front of the State Council Appeals Office. The world was deeply moved by the confidence, self-discipline and high morality displayed by these practitioners. On July 20, 1999, Jiang and the Chinese Communist regime suddenly unleashed their brutal persecution of Falun Gong. Fabrications from all of the Communist Party-controlled media covered the newspapers and the airwaves. Huge lies filled China and the whole world. Many people, misled by the Communist regime’s propaganda, believed that “April 25” was the igniting fuse that caused this persecution.
Practitioners in Melbourne held a series of activities to demonstrate the goodness and peacefulness of Falun Gong to tourists and citizens who took part in the commemorative activities on ANZAC Day. People were shocked at the brutal persecution that Falun Gong practitioners have been suffering in China. Falun Gong practitioners’ great deeds of countering the persecution over the past eight years of hardships and tribulations, have touched the world’s people.
