(Minghui.org) The Guadeloupe Public Mental Health Institute and the Montéran Medical Centre organised a Mental Health Week from October 14 to 23, 2022. Practitioners were invited to participate and introduce Falun Dafa.

Guadeloupe is an overseas region of France, an archipelago in the Caribbean Sea, with rich and varied geographical attractions, including forests, volcanoes, rivers, hot springs, beaches, mangroves, etc.

Practitioners introduced Falun Dafa to medical staff, administrative staff, and patients’ companions in the city of Bouillante on October 14. They also talked about the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) brutal persecution of practitioners and its state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting. People were appalled by the CCP’s brutality.

That afternoon practitioners demonstrated the exercises, which received warm applause from the crowd. After learning the five sets of exercises, a nurse said she felt warm and energetic. She said she would go to the Rivière-Sens practice site and do them.

After a whole day of activities, the organisers of the event sent practitioners a thank-you note: “You are able to convey a message of wisdom and factual information that cannot be ignored.”

On Sunday, October 23, the Health Village for Artisans was held in a seaside park in the port of Basse-Terre, the capital of Guadeloupe. Opposite Basse-Terre is La Soufrière volcano, and the Caribbean Sea is just a few steps away. Practitioners introduced the practice to passersby and exhibitors.

Practitioners talk with Mayor André Atallah, who asked if there was a group practice site in Basse-Terre.

The program host of Guadeloupe TV1 went to the Falun Dafa booth and interviewed practitioners. He said via a microphone, “There is a sense of tranquility at this booth.” He repeated the sentence several times.

According to the practitioners, there are nine group practice sites in Guadeloupe, they are, Petit-Bourg, Gosier, Rivière Sens, Port Louis, Sainte-Anne (Sainte-Anne), Grand-Bourg, Saint-Félix, Plage de Roseau, and Sainte-Rose.

Background: What Is Falun Dafa and Why Is the CCP Persecuting It?

Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) was first introduced to the public by Mr. Li Hongzhi in Changchun, China, in 1992. The spiritual discipline is now practiced in over 100 countries and regions worldwide.

Millions of people who have embraced the teachings, which are based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, and have learned the five exercises, have experienced improved health and well-being.

Jiang Zemin, former head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), perceived the spiritual discipline’s growing popularity as a threat to the CCP’s atheistic ideology, and on July 20, 1999, he issued an order to eradicate the practice.

Under Jiang’s personal direction, the CCP established the 610 Office, an extralegal security organisation with the power to override the police and judicial systems and whose sole function is to carry out the persecution of Falun Dafa.

Minghui.org has confirmed the deaths of thousands of practitioners as a result of the persecution over the past 23 years. The actual number is believed to be much higher. Countless practitioners have been imprisoned and tortured for their faith.

There is concrete evidence that the CCP sanctions the harvesting of organs from detained practitioners, who are murdered to supply China’s organ transplant industry.
