A Double-Edged Sword Inside the Human Body

[PureInsight.org] Modern Western medicine considers the human immune system
to be a double-edged sword. With too weak of an immune system, one can be easily
infected or get a malignant tumor. With too strong of an immune system, one
may have an auto-immune disease, where the immune system attacks ones own body.
This includes diseases such as myasthenia gravis, lupus and type I diabetes.

A society is composed of individuals. If each one of us could cherish virtue,
people would not fight with each other and society would be peaceful. Such a
peace would not be achieved through administrative efforts or laws. Instead,
it would be because people were uplifting their moral standards. Since Falun
Gong (Falun Dafa) was introduced to the public in May 1992, nearly one hundred
million people started to practice it within only six years. They not only got
rid of their previous bad habits, but were able to discipline themselves with
the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Falun Gong practitioners
are not fighting for personal gain, and they care about others more than themselves.
These good people are beneficial to the nation and society.

Among Falun Gong practitioners, they are people who had immune systems that
were too weak or too strong before. Then, why were their illnesses cured after
starting their practice of Falun Gong?

A human body is composed of cells, including the cells of the immune system.
Cells are also tiny beings living in a community. After one practices Falun
Gong and follows the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance to become
selfless, the cells inside the person’s body may change accordingly. That
is, instead of fighting with each other, the cells may live together more harmoniously.
This could be one reason why these illnesses disappear after one practices Falun
