Global Human Rights Torch Relay will travel through 100 cities around the world. Its purpose is to call on the international community to focus on brutal violations of human rights and the Olympics spirit by the Chinese Communist regime, in order to stop such crimes and not let the 2008 Olympic Games that symbolizes peace and freedom of humanity become the “Bloody Harvest Games.”

On June 26, 2007 Falun Gong practitioners in Hong Kong gathered at Charter Gardens to strongly protest the Hong Kong authorities’ use of a blacklist provided by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), to refuse entrance of Taiwanese human rights lawyer Theresa Chu and other Falun Gong practitioners. The practitioners were also treated with violence during the repatriation.

The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) held the Health Ministers Conference on June 6, 2007, in Sydney. Falun Gong practitioners from Australia held a press conference outside the conference hall and hosted an activity titled ” Great Wall of Facts” to expose the CCP’s harvesting of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners.
At a press conference held at the Canadian Parliament on May 30, 2007, acclaimed Jewish scholar and chairman of the Organ Donation Committee of the Kidney Foundation for Eastern Ontario, and the chair of the “Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China” (CIPFG), Rabbi Reuven Bulka, declared that boycotting the Olympic Games 2008 is not politics, but a human rights issue.

On May 10th, 2007, ten human rights organisations, including Human Rights Without Borders, International Human Rights Association, the Uygur World Congress and the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China (CIPFG), held a joint press conference at the headquarters of the European Union (EU) in Brussels, Belgium, to expose the CCP’s human rights violations, and urge the EU to take effective action regarding the deteriorating human rights situation in China.
