We citizens of the Maroochy Shire, Qld. Australia, sister to Xiamen City, are
shocked to learn that many of our Australian citizen’s family members are being
incarcerated.
It is easy to see that Jiang’s persecution of Falun Gong grew out of his narrow mindedness, selfishness, unwarranted suspicion, and disregard of the facts.
I am an ordinary Australian with no Chinese background or connection. Yet I
have had some experience of Falun Gong.

people are opposed to the new security law [Article 23] and only 16.4 per cent support
it.
