Recent weeks have seen a flurry of new cases in Finland, Iceland, Belgium,
France, and Australia. It’s the latest tactic in an ongoing, high-profile campaign to draw
attention to China’s often brutal three-year-old crackdown on the group.
During World War II, Hitler made laws against Jews: he “legally” took away the right for Jews to go to college and become employed. Then “according to the law,” he sent Jews to concentration camps, where over six million died of persecution.

2003 Australia Falun Dafa Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference was successfully held on September 14. Around 800 practitioners from Australia as well as Taiwan, Malaysia, New Zealand and Hong Kong attended the conference.
Jiang Zemin is facing another lawsuit. In Australia, after Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Zhang Cuiying announced her intent to launch legal action against Jiang Zemin in her own name, practitioners in Sydney decided to bring forward a class action lawsuit against Jiang in Australian Federal Court. Currently, the case is in the stage of consultation and collecting materials.
Australian Falun Dafa practitioners send 600 individual letters in over ten different languages to the Belgium Prime Minister and Belgium Embassy in Australia in support of the Belgium lawsuit against former Chinese Communist leader, Jiang Zemin and two of his senior-most accomplices, Luo Gan and Li Lanqing, for genocide, crimes against humanity and crimes of torture.
The Griffith University students will carry out research for the legal team
representing a practitioner of the spiritual movement, Falun Gong, who
alleges she was tortured in China.
This case is far from over. In fact, it is just beginning. Like the plaintiffs in Filartiga v. Pena-Irala (2nd Cir. 1980), like the plaintiffs in Pinochet, the plaintiffs in Falun Gong v. Jiang Zemin shall prevail on appeal. History will soon show that the principles which comprise the plaintiffs’ claims shall prevail.
According to a firsthand account received from China on August 20th, 2003, a Falun Gong practitioner was abducted and severely beaten by police with a wooden rod while she was six months pregnant.
A criminal lawsuit was filed today in Helsinki, Finland charging the head of China’s Gestapo-like “6-10 Office,” Luo Gan, with crimes of genocide and torture.
