On the evening of the Valentine’s Day when couples celebrate being together, we cannot forget our friends, relatives and fellow practitioners in China who are suffering persecution. Recently, more Falun Gong practitioners died as a result of the persecution.
Chinese-American Ms. Zhang, a resident in New York City, seeks support from all circles in society and requests the Chinese authorities to immediately release her elder sister Ms. Jun Zhang and Jun’s daughter Chiyue Li, who are currently imprisoned in the Beijing Chaoyang Detention Center.
It is in France’s own interest to make up for any damage done by this incident, not just to Falun Gong, but to the freedoms and basic rights that should have been protected within France’s borders for all its citizens, residents and peaceful visitors.
The City of Lanzhou, in Mainland China, is famous for its production of watermelon seeds. The exceptional taste of Lanzhou watermelon seeds has earned a reputation both domestically and internationally. Watermelon seeds are highly nutritious in protein, saturated fats, and vitamins, and therefore benefit the lungs, stomach, and the intestines.
In the beginning of 2004, Mr. Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Gong, accepted an exclusive interview with North America’s NTD TV (New Tang Dynasty TV). This was the first time that Mr. Li had appeared publicly in the media in the past four years.
“Compared to Hitler’s crime in slaughtering the Jews, the Chinese government’s killing of innocent people is more covert, and is more sinister. This action is hidden under lies, for example, “for the sake of the stabilization of society and citizens,” and the cruel persecution focuses on destroying innocent people’s will and morality. The genocide against Falun Gong practitioners is the most noticeable crime right now.”
Mr. Devedjian expressed that the unreasonable acts conducted by the police against Falun Gong practitioners will not happen again.

A key part of Jiang’s persecution of Falun Gong is a blockade on all independent information about Falun Gong. Under Jiang’s direction, the state-run media in China has gone to great lengths to demonize Falun Gong — an image that is shattered by the knowledge that Falun Gong is legal everywhere except China (and there the ban contravenes the Chinese Constitution), and practiced in sixty countries around the world.
The persecution against Falun Gong initiated by Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin out of jealousy and paranoia has continued for more than four years. Meanwhile, the Jiang regime has extended the slander and persecution of Falun Gong to outside of China.
