Australian Parliament House Canberra: Falun Gong practitioners will urge Chinese President Xi Jinping to stop the persecution

Canberra, 15 November, 2014: Falun Dafa practitioners from around Australia will stage
multiple peaceful protests in Canberra during Xi Jinping’s visit (17-18 November), calling on the
Chinese president to end the 15-year persecution of the spiritual practice in China. The protests
will focus particularly on the state-sanctioned practice of organ harvesting from living Falun Dafa
practitioners.

A Heartfelt Message from Sydney

Chinese visitors to the Sydney Opera House are often surprised to see a tall Australian man holding a display board, bearing a message in Chinese: “Welcome to Sydney, Precious Chinese People!”

HOAX EMAIL ALERT

It has come to our attention that there are a number of emails
circulating to Members of Parliament and local councilors that purport to be
from Falun Dafa (Falun Gong) practitioners. These emails express extreme views which are not in accord with Falun Dafa’s principles of truthfulness, compassion, tolerance, and its
teachings to look within and consider others before oneself. We are seeking your cooperation in identifying the source of such emails.

As Falun Gong practitioners all over the world continue raising awareness of the persecution, they have found more and more support. For many, their support no longer stops at giving their own signatures. This was the case last weekend in Scotland, Germany, and Australia.
