Mr. Jiang Renzheng and his wife encountered severe persecution shortly after they went back China. Because they practice Falun Gong, when they were in Germany, they filed application for asylum status there. Unfortunately, their application was turned down and they had to go back China.
On April 5, 2005, Wu Jialong, the deputy Mayor of Chonqing City and his delegation visited Brisbane, the Capitol of Queensland. Falun Gong practitioners took this opportunity to conduct a peaceful appeal calling for an end to the ongoing persecution of Falun Gong in China.

In October of 2002, practitioners of Falun Gong filed a class action lawsuit against former Communist Party Chief, Jiang Zemin, the man who “mobilized a Mao-era mass movement against [Falun Gong…]” according to CNN’s Senior China Analyst, Willy Lam.
The Falun Gong practitioners mentioned in this article were good people of sound physical and mental health. Because they insisted on practicing Falun Dafa and wished to live by the principles “Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance,” the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) tortured them until they were physically disabled or had a mental breakdown.

A student-run Falun Dafa club was invited to speak at a University of Western Sydney’s United Nations Society meeting. A practitioner met with society members at Parramatta campus on 22nd March 2005.
An organiser commented that at the last two festivals it rained, but this year the weather had changed from being very cloudy to warm and sunny. Another organiser said that he would invite Falun Dafa to attend upcoming community festivals.
The Federal government should reverse a decision to prevent members of a religious group protesting outside the Chinese Embassy, the Australian Greens said today.
Describing the Chinese Government’s brutal persecution of tens of thousands of followers of Falun Gong – a pacifist and apolitical movement based on the tenets of truth, compassion and forbearance – Zeng’s book inspires such outrage that readers will probably feel the need to research the situation for themselves to see if the author has exaggerated the scale of the tragedy or the outrageousness of the Government’s actions.
