On July 29, 2004, Ms. Dai Zhizhen held media interviews in front of the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia. She described how her husband was persecuted to death in China for practicing Falun Gong. The following report is the interview of Dai Zhizhen with Zhengjian / PureInsight reporter Li Qingyun.
Due to our efforts in letting the public know about Falun Gong and the genocide that is taking place against practitioners in China, and thanks to the peaceful nature of Falun Gong cultivation practice, people who practice Falun Gong were the only group who received permission to hold events in Athens.
The lawsuit states that Bo Xilai has contravened Article 357 of the Russian Criminal Law in his crimes of genocide, torture and crimes against humanity.
On July 19th, Chen was summoned to appear before the Tanzanian court in reference to the case. This is the first time any Chinese official responsible for the persecution of Falun Gong has appeared in person at any of the legal actions filed in many countries.

In the morning of Friday, 6 August 2004, at approximately 11.00am Athens time, Falun Gong practitioners successfully filed a criminal lawsuit based on torture against Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan and Li Lanqing.
The press conference was successful with a number of Greek as well as foreign press attending.

“[Former Chinese leader] Jiang Zemin has terrorized the Chinese people for so long, [and] he must go,” said Ambassador Mark Palmer, a 26-veteran of the U.S. State Department and Vice-chairman of the Board for Freedom House. “It will happen,” Palmer told a crowd of over 1,000 practitioners and supporters of Falun Gong who had traveled from more than 20 different countries.
A press conference was held in front of the Pretoria Art Museum in the capital city of South Africa, and announced that legal actions against Chinese heads of state have officially begun.
