Chinese-American Ms. Zhang, a resident in New York City, seeks support from all circles in society and requests the Chinese authorities to immediately release her elder sister Ms. Jun Zhang and Jun’s daughter Chiyue Li, who are currently imprisoned in the Beijing Chaoyang Detention Center.
“Compared to Hitler’s crime in slaughtering the Jews, the Chinese government’s killing of innocent people is more covert, and is more sinister. This action is hidden under lies, for example, “for the sake of the stabilization of society and citizens,” and the cruel persecution focuses on destroying innocent people’s will and morality. The genocide against Falun Gong practitioners is the most noticeable crime right now.”
On February 3, 2004, the Ontario Superior Court began proceedings for the libel lawsuit filed by Toronto Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Joel Chipkar against the Deputy Consul General of China in Toronto, Mr. Pan Xinchun.
This is the first time where a Falun Gong practitioner has brought and won a lawsuit against a Chinese diplomat for persecuting Falun Gong outside of China. This is also the first court case where a Chinese diplomat was sued for slander and spreading hatred against Falun Gong.
Mr. Devedjian expressed that the unreasonable acts conducted by the police against Falun Gong practitioners will not happen again.
A key part of Jiang’s persecution of Falun Gong is a blockade on all independent information about Falun Gong. Under Jiang’s direction, the state-run media in China has gone to great lengths to demonize Falun Gong — an image that is shattered by the knowledge that Falun Gong is legal everywhere except China (and there the ban contravenes the Chinese Constitution), and practiced in sixty countries around the world.
Dr. Terri Marsh, lead attorney in the ground-breaking lawsuit against former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin and the 6-10 Office, filed a 60-page brief this morning in the U.S. 7th Circuit Court of Appeals in Chicago. The brief asks the Circuit Court to reverse the decision of the U.S. District Court and allow the case to go forward.
The Committee for an International Special Tribunal on the Persecution of Falun Gong was founded on December 8, 2003 in North America and it was announced to the public on January 5.

They sent hate materials to government officials across Canada asking them to not support constituents who practise Falun Gong in Canada and they have held a hate pictorial display in their visa office for the past year.
