On December 11, 2005, around one thousand people gathered in Roosevelt Park in Manhattan Chinatown to support 6.2 millions Chinese people issuing statements online to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Many Falun Gong practitioners from the Eastern US, including Washington DC, participated in this rally.
Woman Tortured in China, Settles in U.S. as UN Refugee
With assistance and support from the U.S. State Department, Members of Congress and several NGOs, Ms. Weixun Li arrived in the U.S. last week as a UN refugee. Li had fled China where she had been tortured to the brink of death.
On September 9, 2005, Canada Prime Minster Martin raised the issue of Falun Gong during his meeting with Hu Jintao. On the evening of September 8, Stephen Harper, leader of the Official Opposition, shook hands and talked with practitioners appealing in front of the Governor General’s Office. He encouraged the practitioners to “Keep up all the good work.”
The Chinese Communist Party was destined to lose when it stated that the Communist Party would defeat Falun Gong. No persecution of righteous faith in history has ever succeeded. The suppression of Falun Gong was destined to lose from the beginning. They will not be able to escape trial when the world’s people learn the truth and demand justice.
Some previous Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials now living in Australia and Canada have publicly exposed the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong taking place both inside and outside of China. Now Mr. Zhong Guichun, previously an official in the Chinese Public Security Bureau, has also stepped forward to reveal more facts of the persecution.
Since July 1999, a massive genocide has been carried out against Falun Gong practitioners in China, and the most vulnerable victims are the children. They are separated from their parents, forced into homelessness, expelled from schools, orphaned, and even persecuted to death. It’s been six years…
A New York Federal Court reached a default judgment in the absence of defendant Guo Chuanjie, the deputy head of the 610 Office. This office is also called the “Leadership Group Dealing with Falun Gong Issues at the Chinese Academy of Sciences”. The judge ordered Guo Chuanjie to compensate victims for damages as well as financial losses inflicted on the plaintiffs.
The Canadian Parliament’s Committee on Immigration held a hearing in May 2005 to listen to testimonies, suggestions and comments from nongovernmental organizations and individuals, so as to adjust Canadian policy on immigration.
During the 61th Session of United Nations Human Rights Commission, the United Nations High Commissioner on Human Rights announced last year’s many human rights reports and human rights dialogues between the Commission and China, including reports on the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.
The banner that reads “Bring Jiang Zemin to Justice” continued to be hung in front of the Chinese Consulate, signifying that the evil is collapsing in the face of justice. Jiang instigated the persecution against Falun Gong and should be brought to justice for his crimes in a court of law.
