On July 19, 2003, Dafa practitioners from across South East Queensland converged in capital city Brisbane to hold a series of activities to peacefully protest Chinese regime’s four-year persecution of Falun Gong.
In June 2003, practitioners participated in the local ‘World Environment Day’, an annual event on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, to promote Falun Dafa. Practitioners from Brisbane and the Gold Coast travelled hundreds of kilometres to attend the day’s activities.

“Exposing Lies, Saving Lives” is to bring a greater awareness of the facts about China’s cover ups of the SARS epidemic, the new draconian laws in Hong Kong known as “Article 23”, and the former leader of China being globally sued for genocide. These are all information that China does not want the world to know.
The exclusive parade by Falun Dafa practitioners was a preview to the World Falun Dafa Day, May 13th, that celebrates “Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance.” This day will be marked globally and celebrates 11 years of Falun Dafa in the world.
May 17 was the last day of the week-long event. On the beautiful Yarra River, a
newly decorated tour boat caught many tourists’ eyes.
