Council of Europe Motion Asks for a Hearing on the Organ-Harvesting Case

The second steering committee meeting of the Council of Europe in 2006 was held in Strasbourg from April 10th to 13th. 11 representatives of the COE raised a motion to ask for a hearing on the case which was recently exposed to the public regarding the CCP crimes of organ-harvesting from live Falun Gong practitioners.

Washington DC: Wang Wenyi and Sujiatun Witnesses Hold Joint Press Conference (Photos)

Ms. Wang Wenyi who drew attention from the world’s media during the welcoming ceremony at the White House one week ago, held a press conference in which she talked about the experiences that led to her actions on the South lawn of the White House. Two witnesses, Annie and Peter, who exposed the atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners in the CCP’s Sujiatun Concentration Camp, also attended.

Washington Post: Overreacting to Protest

WENYI WANG acted rudely when she yelled and waved a banner at visiting Chinese President Hu Jintao during his White House appearance Thursday. She waved a yellow banner and shouted in Chinese: “Stop oppressing the Falun Gong,” “Your time is running out,” and “Anything you have done will come back to you in this lifetime.” She also yelled to Mr. Bush, “Stop him from persecuting Falun Gong!”

During President Bush’s meeting with Hu Jintao on the lawn of the White House, while attending as reporter, practitioner Wenyi Wang spoke out loudly for more than two minutes, calling on President Bush and Hu to stop the persecution. She was then taken away by security. On April 21, a judge announced that a hearing would be held at 9:30 a.m. on May 3, coinciding with World Press Freedom Day declared by the United Nations.

Canberra: Introducing Falun Dafa at the National Folk Festival (Photos)

Falun Gong practitioners in Canberra participated in Australia’s “National Folk Festival” on April 13-17, 2006. Most of the visitors had heard of the Chinese Communist Party’s persecution of Falun Gong, and they expressed their admiration for the practitioners’ uncompromising spirits and their best wishes to the practitioners.
