(Minghui.org) The Art of Zhen Shan Ren International Exhibition was held at the Akatlar Cultural Centre in Beşiktaş, one of Istanbul’s most upscale neighborhoods, from January 10 to 16, 2025.

Many people came to the venue just to see the exhibition, but because the exhibition hall was located between the cultural center’s theatre’s entrances, both theatre lovers and theatre artists also had the opportunity to see the artworks. While some wrote their thoughts about the exhibition in the guestbook, others expressed their thoughts verbally.

Can Fırat said when he attended an event held in a different part of Istanbul he learned about Falun Dafa and the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of the practice. He was very excited when he realised that the phrase “Red Wall” that he thought of when he heard about the persecution was the title of a painting. After he visited the exhibition twice, he wrote in the guestbook: “Torture is a crime against humanity.”

Ms. Köprülü said, “I regret that Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance are so hard to obtain and are persecuted in China. Why are such beautiful values and the people who practice them persecuted? This impressed me a lot. I hope there will be justice in the end.”

Children’s theatre artist Salim Dörtcan and his son visited the exhibition. Mr. Salim noted, “It is very interesting—such a positive phenomenon and thought. I read your brochure. It feels like one side is open to goodness and the other to evil. My heart ached.”

Ms. Hülya, who traveled two hours with her daughter and her friends just to see the exhibition despite difficulties such as weather conditions and traffic, said, “Your exhibition is magnificent. What a beautiful exhibition this is! I have seen paintings of cruelty. It’s terrible that Falun Dafa is being persecuted.”

Ms. Ezgi said, “I see in these paintings that these practitioners in China are being tortured. This is inhumane.”

Another attendee, Ms. Emel said, “Goodness should not be persecuted.”
