Falun Gong Practitioners Raise Awareness

A couple from Rhode Island visited the Falun Dafa booth. When they learned about the CCP’s persecution and forced organ harvesting of prisoners of conscience, they expressed sadness and sympathy. When the couple asked how they could help, a practitioner told them that they could sign the petition in support of the Falun Gong Protection Act. The gentleman signed the petition, then said that the world should be more tolerant, and no one should deprive others of their right to belief.

A family of six heard practitioners talking about the CCP’s persecution and one of them said that the CCP’s evil deeds were outrageous. They said they admired the practitioners for their perseverance. Their entire family signed the petition in support of the Falun Gong Protection Act, and said they hoped that the CCP’s brutal persecution would stop soon.

A couple signed the petition. The wife said that the CCP has done a lot of bad things, but now many Western countries are slowly being infiltrated by communism, and young people in particular are easily influenced by communist socialism. She said that she knew about the nature of the Communist Party. The couple said that what Falun Gong practitioners do is to “enable the world to wake up” and they expressed their gratitude to practitioners.

“I Also Want to Practice Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance!”

A woman on crutches stopped in front of the booth. When she saw the words “Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance,” she said excitedly, “I also want to follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance!” She asked a practitioner for her contact information. She then said that she would see the person-in-charge of her senior living apartment to arrange a venue and time, and she invited the practitioners to hold a free nine-day class.

A young woman from Vermont who attends school in Boston stopped at the booth. During a conversation with a practitioner, she expressed an interest in Falun Gong and wanted to know more about learning the practice. When she heard that a free nine-day seminar to learn Falun Gong would be held locally at the end of September, she left her name and phone number and said that she would attend.

A middle-aged man who works in Chinatown stopped by the booth. He said that once, on a business trip to New York, he encountered Falun Gong practitioners collecting signatures. He said that he believes in the divine, and opposes the CCP’s persecution. He said that every day when he went out for lunch, he would see Falun Gong practitioners doing the exercises in Chinatown. He wanted to do the exercises with them, but was unable to due to time constraints. He said that he wanted to sign up for the nine-day class at the end of September.

Also that day, several Chinese people stopped by to learn more about the practice. An elderly woman, after hearing about the benefits of practicing Falun Gong, immediately bought the book Zhuan Falun and said that she would study it and practice Falun Gong.

Two elderly women agreed to quit the CCP and its youth organisations after being told about the nature of the Party. They accepted a Falun Dafa booklet and thanked the practitioners for telling them that the CCP staged the Tiananmen self-immolation incident in 2001 to frame Falun Gong.
