Denmark: People Condemn the CCP During Event in Copenhagen

Various non-governmental organisations held activities in different areas of the city, and Falun Dafa practitioners clarified the truth during the events. No matter how different their ethnic backgrounds or what language they speak, when it comes to universal values, human rights and freedom of belief, most people have the same understanding. People from different parts of the world express their support for, and praise Falun Dafa.

 

Help Spread the Truth

A woman from Bornholm, a Danish island, signed the petition when she heard the facts about the persecution. She asked for additional flyers and explained, “I want to give these to my friends who haven’t heard about the persecution.” She said that she would ask her husband to sign the petition. After he signed, they expressed their support for practitioners’ efforts.

 

People Condemn the CCP

Peter from Germany was shocked when he heard how the CCP harvests organs from Falun Dafa practitioners while they are still alive. He signed the petition and said, “Do you have more information? I really can’t accept such evil things.”

After a group of Polish tourists signed the petition they said they understood what practitioners were enduring because they had been oppressed and suffered when the communists ruled Poland, so they knew how bad the Communist Party was.

Many passersby had long conversations with the practitioners, and talked about their understanding of communist totalitarianism, from its emergence and penetration into society, to its destruction of the human world and morality. People have become increasingly aware of the harm that communism has brought to the world.

 

Chinese People Withdraw from the CCP

Two Chinese people passed by the information and signature drive booth. At first, they waved their hands and refused to withdraw from CCP and its affiliated organisations. Practitioners explained the significance of withdrawing from the CCP. The people asked a series of questions, ranging from what Falun Dafa is, to why the CCP persecutes Falun Dafa, evidence that the Tiananmen self-immolation was a hoax, and about organ harvesting.

After practitioners answered all their questions, the man told the practitioners that he was a Party member and he wanted to quit the CCP. The woman said that she had joined the Youth League and Young Pioneers. They both decided to withdraw their memberships in the Party.

Two young Chinese talked with practitioners. The young woman smiled and said that she, her brother, and their parents were in Denmark as part of their tour to many European countries. On their travels, they saw Falun Dafa practitioners at scenic spots in France and the UK. “I used to feel that I was too old to quit the Youth League, but the CCP has killed so many innocent, good people, and even harvests organs from people while they are alive. This is really evil,” she said. She and her brother quit the CCP and it’s affiliated organisations.

 

Background: What Is Falun Dafa and Why Is the CCP Persecuting It?

Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) was first introduced to the public by Mr. Li Hongzhi in Changchun, China, in 1992. The spiritual discipline is now practiced in over 100 countries and regions worldwide.

Millions of people who have embraced the teachings, which are based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, and have learned the five exercises, have experienced improved health and well-being.

Jiang Zemin, former head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), perceived the spiritual discipline’s growing popularity as a threat to the CCP’s atheistic ideology, and on July 20, 1999, he issued an order to eradicate the practice.

Under Jiang’s personal direction, the CCP established the 610 Office, an extralegal security organisation with the power to override the police and judicial systems and whose sole function is to carry out the persecution of Falun Dafa.

Minghui.org has confirmed the deaths of thousands of practitioners as a result of the persecution over the past 24 years. The actual number is believed to be much higher. Countless practitioners have been imprisoned and tortured for their faith.

There is concrete evidence that the CCP sanctions the harvesting of organs from detained practitioners, who are murdered to supply China’s organ transplant industry.
