China: Members of the Public Celebrate Death of Dictator Jiang Zemin

(Minghui.org) The Chinese Communist Party announced the death of its former dictator Jiang Zemin on November 30, 2022.

I know the owner of an architectural design institute. He very much despised Jiang Zemin and was the first to post the news in the WeChat group of the institute.

Some people planned to celebrate Jiang’s death with fireworks.

Just two days ago, a Falun Gong practitioner in my city was distributing informational materials about the practice, and another man was very interested in receiving them. He said he has been to Taiwan and saw how Falun Gong practitioners there freely practice their faith. He especially asked for a booklet that listed Jiang’s major crimes in treason, corruption, and initiating the persecution of Falun Gong. He said with excitement, “Jiang Zemin has died!”

In fact, there was a rumor circulating several years ago that Jiang had died. But this time, it’s official.

I met a person who worked at the local TV station on the bus in mid-November. He said to me, “When Jiang was still in office, he gave us a hard time and forced us to have programs attacking Falun Gong day and night.”

“Because of the whole movement he started against Falun Gong, many of us were affected. A few years ago, our VISA application to the U.S. was rejected because we were members of the Communist Party. I believe the U.S. is being tough because of Jiang’s persecution of Falun Gong. The entire International community is condemning the persecution.”

“Now the TV station struggles financially. Last year, it almost couldn’t afford to pay the heating cost. We used to have a big Party every July 1 (anniversary of the Communist Party’s founding), but this year, we had nothing.”

I urged him to quit the Chinese Communist Party and told him how to do it. He was happy to hear it and took a booklet about Jiang’s crimes from me.

A medical professor I met the other day also told me, “My son-in-law is a reporter. It’s outrageous for Jiang to persecute Falun Gong. In my eyes, Falun Gong is great! If everyone upholds principles and justice like Falun Gong, Chinese society wouldn’t be so corrupt today. Jiang brought upon China so much disaster and misfortune. He should have died a long time ago. Even though he has died, he will be infamous forever!”
