The Peru Falun Dafa Association held the Art of Zhen Shan Ren Exhibition in the Callao City public library in Peru from August 3 to 10, 2021. Many officials and local people attended the exhibition and left comments in the guest book.

The General Coordinator of Callao Tourism Jenny Medina Soto wrote in the guest book: “Congratulations to the Peruvian Dafa Association for organising this exhibition and its success! Thanks to all the artists. Truth-Compassion-Forbearance is good!”

Gloria Ruíz Sarmiento, wife of the dean of the Callao Regional Teachers College, wrote: “Today is a fruitful day. I learned about the practice of Falun Dafa and the Chinese Communist Party’s persecution of of Falun Dafa practitioners. I hope that such cruel persecution will end soon.”

Mr. Ricardo Paucar wrote: “Thank you very much. Seeing this exhibition urges us to do the simplest thing: return to the essence of humanity.”

The manager of Callao City’s Education, Culture and Tourism Department Miguel Angel Arrese Mattos, Italian Ambassador to Peru Giancarlo Maria Cusio and First Secretary of the Embassy Paolo Tonini cut the ribbon to open the exhibition. A practitioner then guided them around the exhibition and explained each painting. They all wrote testimonials in the guestbook.

Ambassador Cusio and Mattos said they appreciated the Falun Dafa Association for bringing the exhibition to Callao City.

“Every work has a very deep meaning. I understand and get the message from the exhibition,” Ambassador Cusio said.

Mattos said that the paintings “let people learn about the persecution that is taking place in China today.”

Carlos Munive, a Peruvian theologian and university professor, carefully viewed each artwork. He said: “This is so shocking! These paintings show a reality that you don’t want to see. This kind of cruel persecution in China is still happening today; but it will not last long and will pass soon.”

Lorenzo Company Aguirre, the head of the folk association “Los Pioneros,” took 34 students aged 8-13 to view the exhibition on the last day. The students carefully viewed each work. They learned that many unfortunate children were still suffering in faraway China.

Aguirre said: “These artworks and the messages they convey are very shocking. They should be spread to more young people. Students in Peru should not miss this great opportunity. I hope you will hold more exhibitions. Thank you very much.”

After viewing the exhibition, the students learned the five exercises of Falun Gong together.

Mrs. Lizbeth was left with a deep impression after viewing the exhibition. “I really hope that all Peruvians and the world can see this tolerance. I admire these paintings very much because they convey faith, peace, and hope. There is no resentment and only belief in their faith,” she said.
