Criminal Investigation Team in Beijing Quits the Chinese Communist Party

As the coronavirus ravages the world, many people, including Chinese, are seeing through more of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)’s deceptive messages. When Falun Gong practitioners make phone calls to China to inform people of the persecution of their faith, a large number of Chinese citizens agree to quit the CCP and its youth organisations.

Below is a recent conversation between a Falun Gong practitioner outside of China, Tara, and the criminal investigation team at a police department in Beijing.

“I Know the Inside Story [of Defamation]”

Tara dialed Zhang, head of the criminal investigation team. Zhang asked, “Who is this? Where did you get my name and phone number?”

“I got your contact information from the World Organisation to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG). Its online database lists officers who have participated in the persecution of Falun Gong,” Tara replied.

Zhang wondered what the call was about. Tara said she had read that coronavirus cases had increased sharply in Beijing and she wanted to offer some help.

“We Chinese believe ‘Good is rewarded while evil is punished,’” she said. “Although it’s important to take safety precautions, acting on one’s conscience and remaining righteous will also bring us blessings and safety.”

When Zhang asked why, she explained, “The suppression of Falun Gong in the last 21 years is probably the worst thing going on in China. People are detained, put in prison, or even killed for striving to be good and following Falun Gong’s principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Think about it: If someone participates in persecuting innocent people—those who are the hope of our society–isn’t it committing a sin?”

Zhang paused. “So what should I do?”

Tara said the best way is to stop persecuting Falun Gong and take actions to end the crime. She pointed out that in the Holocaust, although officers were following orders at the time, they were held accountable in the end for killing the innocent. “I know many police officers are good people and unwilling to suppress innocent people. But after every political campaign, the CCP executed key officers as scapegoats to ease public anger,” Tara said. “You don’t want to end up like them, right?”

Zhang was quiet. Tara told him more about Falun Gong, its benefits for physical and mental health, and how the CCP has been slandering the practice with hate propaganda such as the staged self-immolation at Tiananmen Square.

Zhang chimed in, “Yeah, I know the inside story [of the self-immolation], and it’s fake.”

Forced Organ Harvesting

She told him how, in July 1999, former CCP leader Jiang Zemin began mobilising the entire state apparatus to suppress Falun Gong. Led by the Gestapo-like 610 Office, many government agencies–especially the police, procuratorates, and courts–have become heavily involved in the persecution. One of the worst crimes committed by the CCP is the killing of Falun Gong practitioners for organs.

Zhang replied, “I don’t believe it.”

Tara pointed to evidence documented by Minghui.org and WOIPFG, including testimony by a security guard who witnessed an event on April 9, 2002, at the General Hospital of Shenyang Military Region of the People’s Liberation Army.

“The Falun Gong practitioner was a teacher in her 30s, and, without anesthesia, surgeons removed her heart and kidneys,” Tara said. “The security guard said the practitioner even called out, ‘Falun Dafa is good!’ before dying. Because she was good-looking, some police officers also humiliated her and raped her before that… And this is just one of many brutal crimes committed by the Jinzhou Police Department.”

“Really?!” Zhang asked.

Tara then shared her own experience. One of her friends, a Westerner, went to Changzheng Hospital (a military hospital in Shanghai) for a kidney transplant. After complications, he received a second transplant. The surgeon later called the friend, saying he could come back to the hospital at any time. “We have plenty of organs and will continue until you’re satisfied,” the surgeon said. “They’re high-quality organs from healthy people younger than 30—I can show you their pictures.”

Shocked by the brutality, Tara called the surgeon and said to him, “How can you do this?! They’re human beings, not livestock in a slaughterhouse!”

The surgeon said, “Oh, if you dare to come here, I’ll take your organs, too.”

Zhang was silent for a while and then sighed. “I think what you said is true.”

“That’s why we hope officers like you can stop following the CCP to harm innocent people,” Tara said. “It’s not good for you or your family. Even heaven will not let that go unpunished. By quitting the CCP organisations—even with a pseudonym–your conscience will earn blessings for you.”

“No, I won’t do that—I don’t like pseudonyms,” Zhang replied. Right then, the phone went dead. Tara called again, but no one picked up.

A Unanimous Decision

After making a few other calls, Tara returned to Zhang’s number. “What do you think about what I told you earlier?”

“I’m here,” she heard Zhang say after taking the phone from someone else. “I won’t use a pseudonym—please help me quit the CCP with my real name.”

“I’m glad to hear that!” Tara answered. “I’m so happy for you. Please also remember that when something comes up, reciting ‘Falun Dafa is good’ will bring you blessings.”

“That’s great. Thank you! Oh, wait. I need your help,” Zhang said, “There are five other officers here. Can you help them, too?”

He turned on the speakerphone and said, “I’ve called all five of my coworkers here. They didn’t hear clearly what you said earlier. Can you repeat it?”

Tara explained again how the CCP went against traditional values and the common good, that by suppressing Falun Gong and the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, it essentially ruined the future of Chinese people.

In the end, all these officers agreed to quit the CCP and its youth organisations.
