Further Information Regarding the Chinese Communist Party’s Attacks on Falun Gong Practitioners in Flushing, New York (Photos)

Recently, under direct orders from Zhou Yongkang,
secretary of the Political and Judiciary Committee of the Chinese Communist
Party (CCP), the CCP continues to frame and slander Falun Gong in China and
overseas by fabricating news to inspire hatred towards Falun Gong. On May 17,
facilitated by the Chinese Consulate behind the scenes, mobs surrounded and
attacked volunteers in Flushing New York at the Global Service Center for Quitting
the Chinese Communist Party (GSC-QCCP). On the days that followed, mobs continued
to surround and attack the volunteers in Flushing.

Several thugs who attacked and cursed Falun Gong practitioners were arrested by police. The Global Service Center for Quitting the CCP indicated that the CCP’s actions violated United States laws, as well as general diplomatic rules. The FBI will investigate these incidents, and the perpetrators will be brought to justice.

Similar incidents also occurred in Japan and Hong Kong. The CCP media covered the incident, using it to discredit and slander Falun Gong. The CCP’s Xinhua News and Chinese Central TV (CCTV) reported on May 20 a slanderous story that unfairly framed Falun Gong. The report changed the facts about the violent attack of a rally supporting withdrawal from the CCP to “New York Chinese people collect donation for Sichuan earthquake relief, Falun Gong interferes,” which deceives Chinese people in China.

Video Link Posted to Frame Falun Gong on Xinhua News Website but Quickly Deleted

On the Xinhua News website, at 5:40 a.m. Beijing Time May 21, there was a well-arranged page with plans. Reports on mourning the deaths from the earthquake were on top, followed by many articles attempting to evade responsibility and deny prior knowledge of the impending earthquake. In the “Focus” section and left-side “Xinhua Video” section were reports framing Falun Gong which contained facts about the attack incident that were falsified to implicate Falun Gong practitioners.

After a few hours however, at 1:30 p.m. on May 21, the video link slandering Falun Gong had been deleted and the video was no longer to be found on the Xinhua News website video page.

Witnesses Saw the Vice Consul of the Chinese General Consulate of New York Near the Incident and Chinese Spies Among the Mobs

At the location of the incident on May 20, some thugs who were apparently drug addicts came to stir up trouble, presumably after taking drugs. The highly stimulated thugs cursed Falun Gong’s founder and practitioners and beat the practitioners.

Some witnesses saw the Vice Consul of the Chinese General Consulate of New York near the incident location, and there were Chinese spies issuing orders among the mob. The so-called spectators were changed batch by batch after some time. Some of the participants asked each other which state they were from. Some said from Boston, and some said from Philadelphia or Washington DC. Some were heard saying in public, “We were told that there was a rally of Tibetan independent-seekers. We were asked to come to take a look.”

Several older Chinese ladies who passed by were deceived by the crowd, and cursed the Falun Gong practitioners. The reporter asked them the reason. The ladies said, “Falun Gong interferes with donation collection for Sichuan earthquake relief.” The reporter asked, “How do you know?” They answered, “They said so,” while pointing at the mob.

Yi Rong, the person-in-charge of the Flushing Service Center for Quitting the CCP, said, “This is an apparent lie. The service center has a stand here every day. There was no donation collection site at all. These people did not mention any donations for Sichuan earthquake victims. We have been here for several years. Generally, no one come to stir up trouble.”

Chinese issue specialists analyzed that this was a well-designed conspiracy to inspire hatred toward Falun Gong among people who didn’t know the facts, under the name of disaster relief. It is to divert attention from the CCP’s huge administration crisis and focus on the topic of the Sichuan earthquake. It also indicates that the withdrawals from the CCP are having a huge impact on the CCP, and is a life-threatening hit to the CCP at a critical point in time.
