On October 26, 2004, New Zealand Human Rights barrister Chris Lawrence, representing 11 Falun Gong practitioners, filed a civil lawsuit in the Auckland High Court in New Zealand, to accuse chief culprits in the persecution of Falun Gong, Jiang Zemin and his accomplices.
A renowned human rights organization in Tanzania passed a resolution several days ago condemning Chinese ex-president Jiang Zemin’s human rights violations against Falun Gong practitioners, and supporting bringing Jiang to justice.
A lawyer representing the group says the suit is part of a world wide case against the former President, who is accused of encouraging the persecution of Falun Gong.
