and greater individual freedoms of movement, for example, now present an

crushed as the recent brutal crackdowns on the Falun Gong attest.

I am not a Falun Gong practitioner, but I know them well. I understand what they are thinking and doing. At the same time, since I am also a police officer and a civil servant. I know clearly what the police and civil servants are thinking and doing. It surprises me that some people think the Chinese government does have some reason to worry about 70 to 100 million people practising Falun Gong.
When people hear the truth about the persecution, they often ask, “Why does the the Jiang regime persecute Falun Gong? Why does this regime treat a group of people with such brutality, just for cultivating their bodies and minds?” Everyone with rational thinking finds it ridiculous.
