On the first weekend of September, Father John asked church members to sit down after the service and told them about the tragedy of innocent Falun Gong practitioners in China.

Call for International Support for Australian Position on Organ Harvesting in China

Further support for an end to organ harvesting came in a statement this week referring to the Matas-Kilgour report, when the U.S. National Kidney Foundation said it “is deeply concerned about recent allegations regarding the procurement of organs and tissues through coercive or exploitative practices abroad, or practices which violate worldwide human rights standards.”

A human rights lawyer and a former cabinet minister in Canada have added their weight to charges that China has been killing Falun Gong dissidents so it can use their organs. They provided English transcripts of phone calls, in Mandarin, made to detention centres and organ transplant clinics in which officials said organs from Falun Gong practitioners could be made available for speedy use.

May 13, 2006 is World Falun Dafa Day, a date that both heaven and earth are celebrating. Falun Gong practitioners from Sydney held a series of activities in downtown Sydney to celebrate it, including parades and performances. Many people enjoyed the performances and parades. They witnessed the beauty of Falun Dafa and also learned the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong in China.
