(Minghui.org) Practitioners held a Falun Dafa information day in Leiden and ‘s-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands on May 23 and 30, respectively. They raised awareness of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution and collected signatures on a petition calling for an end to the human rights abuses. Many people learned about the issue and condemned the CCP’s brutality.
Located in the province of South Holland, Leiden is home to more than 118,000 people and is known as the “City of Keys.” The city serves as a hub for international student exchange, thanks to the renowned Leiden University.
Practitioners set up a booth on Haarlemmerstraat on May 23. They demonstrated the exercises and distributed flyers.

Raising Awareness at Annual Music Festival in Brabant
‘s-Hertogenbosch is the capital of the province of North Brabant and the second-largest population centre in the Netherlands and features charming medieval architecture.
The Summer of Brabant, an annual music festival in the province of North Brabant, was held in ‘s-Hertogenbosch on May 30. The streets were filled with people in festive attire, enjoying the warm summer sun.

People Learn About the Persecution
People were drawn by the practitioners in yellow attire on Kerkstraat.

A man took photos as practitioners did the exercises. His friend is from Taiwan, and he said he saw many practitioners in Taiwan. When he learned about the CCP’s persecution, he said, “Fortunately communism is not implemented in Taiwan. I like seeing your exercises. Falun Dafa is a mind-body practice. I like meditation and practiced meditation when I was in India.”

A mother and daughter accepted a flyer and signed the petition. They were sad when they learned how practitioners are tortured in Chinese prisons. The mother said, “We hope the persecution ends soon.”

Diana works in the field of psychology and is interested in the law and research surrounding organ donation and transplantation. She commended the practitioners for raising awareness of the CCP’s forced organ harvesting.
“What you doing is great. Many people don’t know about this issue. If more people knew, only by ensuring the source of transplanted organs is voluntary donation—rather than coercion or commercial trade—can organ transplantation be placed on a proper footing,” Diana said.
