Additional Information
An Ancient Tradition for Mind, Body and Spirit: May 13 marks the World Falun Dafa Day to commemorate the introduction of Falun Dafa to the public in May 1992. Falun Dafa (or Falun Gong) is a traditional Qigong (Chinese meditation) practice that consists of four sets of gentle exercises and a sitting meditation. Falun Dafa’s practice is an unique and highly effective way to improve your health and energy levels. In addition to the exercises, Falun Dafa emphasises self-improvement by upholding the universal principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance. The practice is always shared free of charge or obligation. To learn more, visit https://falunau.org/practise-sites/.
The Persecution: Every day, in over 100 countries around the world, practitioners would practice Falun Dafa freely and peacefully for their own well-being. Yet in China, millions of Falun Dafa practitioners are branded as enemies of the state and brutally persecuted by the Chinese communist party since July 1999. To learn more about this persecution, please visit: www.FalunInfo.net.
Experience it for Yourself: As we are celebrating 26 years of Falun Dafa’s introduction to the public this year, anyone is welcome to join us in the celebration of World Falun Dafa Day in the Grand Parade at Sydney at 5 May. There will be performances and free meditation learning classes free for the public.
Learning the practice: Falun Dafa activities is always free of charge, and the exercises will be taught by volunteers. You can practice the exercises at home in your own pace or, with a local group.
