The U.S. Consulate in Shanghai has notified individuals close to U.S. citizen Dr. Charles Lee that he is to be released and deported back to the United States on January 21, following a three-year unlawful imprisonment in a Chinese prison.

On December 25, 2005, more than four thousand Falun Gong practitioners from across Taiwan gathered in front of Chungcheng Memorial Hall square to form a Falun–the emblem of Falun Gong. This is the first time Falun Gong practitioners formed the grand and magnificent “Falun Emblem” over the past six years since the Chinese Communist regime initiated its persecution campaign against Falun Gong on July 20, 1999.
On December 2, 2005, United Nations Special Rapporteur on Torture, Mr. Manfred Nowak, condemned the Chinese Communist Party’s use of torture at a press conference at UN headquarters in Beijing.
December 10, 2005, was International Human Rights Day. On this day, opposite the Chinese Embassy in Thailand, police interfered with a group of Falun Gong practitioners peacefully protesting there. The Thai police were incited to do so by Chinese Embassy officials. The practitioners’ human rights were seriously abused.
On December 11, 2005, around one thousand people gathered in Roosevelt Park in Manhattan Chinatown to support 6.2 millions Chinese people issuing statements online to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Many Falun Gong practitioners from the Eastern US, including Washington DC, participated in this rally.
Woman Tortured in China, Settles in U.S. as UN Refugee
With assistance and support from the U.S. State Department, Members of Congress and several NGOs, Ms. Weixun Li arrived in the U.S. last week as a UN refugee. Li had fled China where she had been tortured to the brink of death.
On September 9, 2005, Canada Prime Minster Martin raised the issue of Falun Gong during his meeting with Hu Jintao. On the evening of September 8, Stephen Harper, leader of the Official Opposition, shook hands and talked with practitioners appealing in front of the Governor General’s Office. He encouraged the practitioners to “Keep up all the good work.”
The Chinese Communist Party was destined to lose when it stated that the Communist Party would defeat Falun Gong. No persecution of righteous faith in history has ever succeeded. The suppression of Falun Gong was destined to lose from the beginning. They will not be able to escape trial when the world’s people learn the truth and demand justice.
Some previous Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials now living in Australia and Canada have publicly exposed the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong taking place both inside and outside of China. Now Mr. Zhong Guichun, previously an official in the Chinese Public Security Bureau, has also stepped forward to reveal more facts of the persecution.
