Amnesty International new statement on Organ Harvesting – Amnesty international has appealed to the Chinese authorities to stop the campaign of persecution of Falun Gong, including by releasing all those detained solely on account of their peaceful religious or spiritual beliefs and practices.
Mr. Edward McMillan-Scott, European Parliament Vice President, wrote a letter to the Chinese Ambassador in Belgium, strongly urging the immediate release of Cao Dong and Gao Zhisheng. Vice President McMillan-Scott firmly states that he will refer this matter to the United Nations in person when he visits the United Nations on November 8-9, 2006.
The director of the Track and Field Association, the sponsor of the tournament Mr. Rao learned the facts about Falun Gong and found that Falun Gong is not as what the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) negative propaganda describes. He said that Falun Gong is a righteous practice and righteous way of cultivation.

Falun Gong practitioners from Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane held a rally and anti-torture exhibition in front of Parliament House in Canberra. They called on the Australian government to pay attention to the CCP’s atrocities of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners and take to measures to stop this crime against humanity.
FALUN Gong practitioners are continuing to pursue Foreign Minister Alexander Downer over what they say was his unreasonable crackdown on their long-running protests outside the Chinese embassy in Yarralumla.
In Lawrence, about 10 people gather three times a week to perform the exercises and study the principles. The exercises are meditative — both slow-moving and static — and designed to open the body’s energy channels and enhance and purify energy levels, among other enhancements.
