In my opinion, there are two unbreakable precepts for scientists. First, matter has a material existence. Second, objective and repeatable experiments are the decisive standards in testing scientific truth.

To my understanding of Falun Gong, when a practitioner follows the right teachings, miracles can happen. Practitioners begin to become fully aware of their personal and ethical shortcomings, and make improvements. They begin to understand how to live a truly meaningful life, and for this they are rewarded.

In October 1998, some physicians at China Union Medical University did a large-scale survey among more than 10,000 Falun Dafa practitioners in Beijing regarding their health status. The results showed that 99.1% of Falun Dafa practitioners improved their health after practice.

In Zhuan Falun, the main book of Falun Gong, Teacher Li writes, “In ancient China, supernatural capabilities were common to virtually all Chinese medical doctors, such as those great medical scientists: Sun Simiao, Huatuo, Li Shizhen, and Bian Que.

Silk from the Tang Dynasty is not only colorful and lustrous, but also very rich and beautiful in pattern. Birds were often used, including the phoenix, peacock, parrot, mandarin duck and hoopoe in embroidering, printing and dyeing.

In the early Tang Dynasty, women’s short blouses were tight-sleeved and paired with close-fitting long skirts. The skirts were waist-length, tied above the waist or below the armpits. The half sleeve was born out of short blouses.

One day in July 1995, I received a book from my parents in China. The name of the book was ZHUAN FALUN. The author was Mr. Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Dafa. After reading only a few pages, I felt that both my mind and body were overwhelmed by a magnificent power. I could not get away from the book that night, and I continued to read it until five o'clock the next morning.

As a child, I often sat in the backyard, gazing at the numerous stars twinkling in the night sky, with all sorts of questions floating in my mind. Are there people out there? What are they doing? Are there bigger objects in the boundless universe? Can our solar system be just a tiny molecule of a much larger living being?

Wild ginseng is found in northeastern China. The remote Changbai Mountain in Jilin Province is especially well-known for growing wild ginseng roots that are hundreds or even thousands of years old. But the legend has it that the real hometown of ginseng is Shandong, not northeastern China. Here is the story:
