(Minghui.org) “Coogee Live” was held on March 8-9, 2025, near Perth. Practitioners participated in the popular annual event and introduced Falun Dafa (Falun Gong) to the community.
Coogee Beach boasts a long picturesque coastline and is rated as one of the 15 best beaches in Australia. The beach is a half-hour drive from Perth and is minutes south of the bustling port city of Fremantle.
Practitioners set up a booth where they demonstrated and taught the five Falun Dafa exercises. Many people were interested in learning how to practice and asked about local practice locations. Practitioners also performed Vietnamese bamboo hat dance and dragon dance during the event.
People Learn About Falun Gong
Cloe Smith thanked the practitioners for introducing Falun Dafa, and said, “The information I got here this morning is inspiring. I will go online to learn more. I think what you are doing here is really wonderful! So thank you very much.” She said the world needs Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. “I think these principles, as well as the way they are presented, and the focus on the individual’s inner heart are the key, so thank you very much.”
Vedant Subramanian said he liked Falun Dafa’s principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. He said, “Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance resonate with me. I will definitely learn more about Falun Dafa.”
Isaac Lott was interested in the practitioners’ dragon dance performance, and said, “We should let more people know the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance.” He told practitioners, “Such activities should be spread,” and “Keep going and spreading love.”
Deborah and Eric Krueger talked with practitioners, and they said the world absolutely needs Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance.
About the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of Falun Dafa, Eric said, “No one should be tortured. Everyone has the right to survive and live.”
Deborah said, “I absolutely disagree with the persecution. I didn’t know about it before. If there aren’t opportunities to learn about it, people won’t know. It’s good to know the truth, so that we have the opportunity to prove that this persecution is wrong.”
Kate O’Carroll, who is from Ireland, said she was interested in Falun Dafa and planned to learn about it when she returns home.
Talking about the persecution, she said, “Brightness is more powerful than the dark.” She also said she hopes practitioners in China, “Never give up.”
