(Minghui.org) Practitioners in Western Australia introduced Falun Dafa during the Rotary Carine Community Fair in the suburbs of Perth on November 3, 2024. Many local residents showed their support and praised Falun Dafa’s principles: Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. Some learned the exercises during the event.

Many people signed a petition calling for a stop to the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of Falun Dafa. Some asked where they could learn the exercises. People from nearby booths also stopped by and commended practitioners’ efforts to raise awareness of the persecution in China.

Eduard Waizel stopped by the Falun Dafa booth to learn the exercises and said, “I felt great while doing the exercises. My hands and my body especially felt an energy flow. I have studied different cultivation ways. I like Falun Dafa in comparison, because Falun Dafa connects mind, body, and spirit. I’ll continue.”

Eduard praised the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. “Forbearance is important. We shouldn’t blame others or hold grievances. We should treat others with compassion because we get what we give to the world. Telling our true thoughts will help others see what’s truly happening.”

Local residents Dave Kiellor and Tennika Hewitt also resonated with Falun Dafa’s principles. “We need these values. They are the foundations of life,” Tennika said. “They also bring us good health and a positive attitude.”

Leigh Purdie signed the petition to support Falun Dafa practitioners’ call to end the persecution, and said she hopes practitioners in China continue their cultivation practice despite the Chinese government’s suppression.
