(Minghui.org) Practitioners were invited to participate in Houston’s 63rd St. Patrick’s Day Parade held on March 16, 2024. Their banners, waist drummers, and eye-catching float with a Pipa player and people demonstrating the exercises and were so impressive that spectators cheered and took photos of the procession. They were also handed introductory flyers about the ancient cultivation practice.
A parade volunteer remarked on how beautiful Falun Dafa was every time she passed their float. When practitioners gave her an introductory flyer, she glanced at it and said, “Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance are great! I need to practice Forbearance. I’ll read this when I go home.”
George and Jennifer asked if Falun Dafa was the same as Falun Gong. They said they had heard about the persecution in China and followed the news about Falun Gong, which is also known as Falun Dafa.
Loyd and Heather and their four children clapped enthusiastically as the practitioners’ procession passed by. They said, “Everyone should have freedom of belief. America welcomes Falun Dafa!”
Brooklin was astonished to hear that practitioners in China are persecuted and their organs harvested. She said that it was ridiculous for a government to deprive people of freedom and even their lives. She said she hopes the persecution ends soon.
Local resident David told his family about the persecution in China as the Falun Dafa procession passed. He told a practitioner that he agreed with Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and was pleased that Falun Dafa is practiced in the U.S..
