Chinese People Are Awakening

(Minghui.org) As practitioners around the world intensify their efforts to raise awareness of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of Falun Dafa, more and more Chinese people are waking up to the reality of the situation. Here are two anecdotes about Chinese nationals who rejected the CCP’s propaganda and now realise Falun Dafa is good.

Tour Guide: “Shen Yun illuminates the world.”

When Shen Yun Performing Arts toured Japan in 2024, a Falun Dafa practitioner visited Japan as part of a tour group. He told the tour guide about Falun Dafa and the CCP’s persecution, especially the brutal torture that practitioners undergo when they refuse to renounce their belief.

Knowing that Shen Yun would be in the area, the practitioner also asked if there would be time for him to watch the show. The tour guide arranged for the tour to stay at a hotel near the theater, and the practitioner bought tickets and invited the tour guide and the bus driver to watch the show.

On the way back to the hotel after the show, the tour guide was overwhelmed with emotion and said, “I heard about Shen Yun for years, but this is the first time I watched it.” He really appreciated the practitioner for giving him the opportunity to see the show.

He said, “I saw the hope that Falun Dafa brings the world and the great power of compassion.” He said there is a stone bell on Mount Hiei that has the words: “Light in a corner” carved on it—which means to light up a corner of the world. After he saw Shen Yun he said he understood the true meaning of the message in the bell—that Shen Yun is illuminating the world, one corner at a time. “It will definitely happen!” he said.

He said Shen Yun’s path will not be easy and there will be many challenges, but he said that as long as people’s hearts can turn towards goodness, things will change. He said Falun Dafa practitioners bring light and hope to the whole world. He thanked the practitioner for giving him the chance to have this experience.

A Vendor’s Kind Deeds

The next story was told by a practitioner who often visited a market to hand out information about Falun Dafa.

An elderly man sold sweet potatoes in the market. I’d talked to him several times about Falun Dafa, and he was always willing to accept informational materials from me. I always asked him to share them with others.

A few months ago when I was distributing Minghui calendars, I met him again. I only had two calendars left. “Please give both of them to me,” he said. “I have a lot of guests at my house, and I often hand them the materials you give me. I also tell them to pass the materials on after they’re finished reading.”

One day, I passed by his booth again. He stopped me and said, “Do you remember the symbol you gave me with the words: ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good’ on it? One of my relatives liked it so much that he wanted one to hang in his car, too. Can you give me one more so I can give it to him?”

Unfortunately, I didn’t have any.

He said, “Please find one. It will help tell more people that Falun Dafa is good.”

I told another practitioner who was with me, and she gave the man one she had.

Life is precious, and those who understand the truth have become messengers of goodness. They are spreading the message, “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”
