(Minghui.org) Practitioners from Kanto, Nagoya, and Sapporo held peaceful protests on December 31, 2023—at the Chinese Embassy in Tokyo, at the Chinese Consulate in Nagoya, and at the Chinese Consulate in Sapporo. They called for an end to the persecution of Falun Dafa by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and demanded that all imprisoned practitioners be immediately released.

Hiroko, who is from China, said, “I have been protesting against the persecution every day here for the past 25 years. We’ll continue our protest until it ends.”

Đương Thu Hằng said that she started practicing Falun Dafa in 2020. “I no longer get mad and complain. My relationships with my family, friends, and coworkers have improved. Seeing my improvement, my husband also began practicing Falun Dafa. I thank Master Li [the founder of the practice] for his guidance.” Đương Thu took part in the protest to expose the CCP’s brutality against Falun Gong practitioners, especially its crime of harvesting organs from living practitioners.

Nhâm and his wife from Shizuoka participated in the protest in front of the Chinese Consulate in Nagoya. He explained that his wife was moved to see how friendly people were and how the police protected the practitioners. He said, “We wish to see the end of the persecution as soon as possible and we hope Chinese people enjoy the freedom to practice Falun Dafa like people around the world do.”

“It’s chilly and rainy,” Nhâm’s wife added, “but I see peace and good wishes in everyone’s eyes.”
